Latest read, Iron Man 10 by @ifyoucantwell & @cafucomic. Iron Man is stranded on a distant planet, his need to return home in conflict with the peace of refugees living a more peaceful day-to-day existence.
Brings the 'book' back to comic book. Love it!
Whenever I've had a hand in successfully 'emoting' Dr. Doom, it's through body language, time, pacing. Almost like a silent movie. Visually, extra space, extra panels, small emotional beats, help realize Doom.
Once in a while I read that someone thinks Alex Ross isn't good.
