First glimpse of Winter yesterday morning, as frost and freezing fog filled the valleys of north Dorset.

I caught covid for the first time at the end of October, & it knocked the stuffing out of me - this was my first proper trip out since, hoping to catch the end of Autumn!

A lovely start to the day in the New Forest yesterday, and finally some success at a spot ive been bothering unsuccessfully on and off for about a year..

Another one from a cloud filled Dorset woodland, high up on the chalk hills in the north of the county.
The leaves are just starting to lose their vibrant spring greens here now, and turning to their deeper Summer hues.
