Cricket watching and not much painting but did manage to put down the wrong colour here. The light purple under the bat is too light and it’s coming forward whereas it should be going to the back of the focal point. All change.

I love this piece already. I have a strong sense of place with it. The memories of that shot and the wow factor are rattling through me onto the painting.
