A monster idea I've had for a long time now. It's a monster that offers a novice mage a contract; it becomes their familiar for access to the forbidden knowledge in the tome. It slowly drains its 'master' of their energy, eventually taking the wizard's life.

#NSFW, and the feet are absolutely god awful because I'm terrible at drawing them, but I played around with a different shading style to what I usually do with this piece, and it's not perfect I'm really happy with how it turned out.
