Lighting is important too... Super important

Shadows have colors! We dirty humans find comfort in familiar colors. shadows and shading shouldn't be just gray, so give some love to the darkness and treat them as another base color.... but just... darker

Colors tend to be pretty interesting and easy once you get to know them

Ask them what they eat
What they think of otheres
what their retirement plans are

then you say "oh you two should hang out sometime!" and they become great palettes
