Asher (cis dude; he/him) is a phoenix, and the son of a crime lord. He's an antagonist who lives too fast and too hard

Karma (NB; they/them) is a ghoul, and what's known in the underground as "a cleaner". They basically clean up crime scenes and dispose of evidence so neither the cops nor private detectives can arrest anyone

(They typically just end up eating the bodies, tbh)
