Come to this year’s Perth Comic Arts Festival and meet Nathan Richards (@paperwombat)! Nathan is an independent cartoonist and illustrator from Perth. He creates upbeat and playful content to make people smile.

Jess Tobin (@trashgirlarts) is an illustration graduate & a cartoonish nerd next door. She loves to focus on character design, humour & story-telling. She is inspired by fantasy, cartoons, 90’s anime, & her corgi. If you like female leads, flowers & pop culture, she’s your gal.

Rachel is a comics artist from Melbourne, Australia. Her work has been published by The Lifted Brow, Cordite Poetry Review, Going Down Swinging, Scum & The Stella Prize.
She is a co-editor of Comic Sans, an anthology of Australian comics which she makes with Leah Jing McIntosh.

Sarah W Searle (@swinsea) creates comics inspired by intimacy of all sorts, history, & the need for better diversity in media. Her brand new, Kirkus-starred middle-grade graphic novel SINCERELY, HARRIET debuted in May 2019! Current projects include SPARKS and THE GREATEST THING.

Tyson Elmer (@Tyson_Elmer) is a comic artist and cartoonist from Perth. He draws some gooey pictures and creates some strange worlds. Come talk to him about his creations on the 6th July at the Perth Comic Arts Festival!

Gary Dellar published comics back in the 80s – He’s now back with Reverie Publications & plenty of enthusiasm! Reverie #1 was well-received, so he’s working on Reverie #2. Gary also wrote Toby and the Magic Pencil #1 as an ongoing comic – Issue #2 will be released at PCAF.

Hien Pham (@wavingpeople) is a digital artist specializing in gentle and optimistic queer comics.
He grew up in Vietnam on war stories before moving and finding a home in Australia. His work revolves around respite, around caring and loving and being loved and cared for.

Regina Akora (@ReginaAkora) is a freelance comic artist hailing from Perth, Australia. Her work has been featured internationally, from the U.K's NEO Anime & Manga Magazine to Saturday Am's Manga Magazine. Currently, she's travelling Australia promoting her book series, LOLI-POP!

Scott Higginbotham (@themothercode) is the former Curtin Illustration Club president, currently studying at Curtin Uni. He’s working on a comic called "Prime Materia" about transdimensional automatons at the end of the universe & he’s the lead designer for Grok Magazine.
