Just finished this Dutch Owlbeard Bantam, I’m really pleased with it. Don’t get many farm animals so it’s a real treat for me.

Painted on a Wacom Cintiq using a high fidelity digital oil brush set over stock photo. I used ultra high contrast and graduated the brushes - fine for facial details to wider brushes for the coat.

Great week this week getting to grips with a new vectored oil brush set. I have used these brushes before a few months ago for huge boxing canvases but I thought they might be too rough for dogs. They aren't.
