@waschbaerella I love this thread! This is my best babe Harlow- they’re a wildlife photographer (specializing in insect photography) who keeps running into monsters and cryptids out in the woods. They’re autistic and non-binary like I am and as such hold a special place in my heart.

Got inspired to do Harlow in the trees with some atmospheric lighting. I’m really working on pushing mood and atmosphere in my pieces

Couple more sketches from today. Trying to figure out my style a bit more, how to simplify faces and expressions.

Here’s a version with faces. Sometimes I feel like I’m not improving but looking at this I think I am, a little at a time.
