This year's Christmas stamps are absolutely gorgeous. I've just noticed that they have Christian themes, but this is an even-numbered year so they should be secular. It's a Christian who runs Royal Mail stamps, quietly influencing the world. How lovely not to have anyone moaning!
Olafur Eliasson @Tate is the Disneyland of all exhibitions. I loved it. Corridors of dense fog. Drifts of water glowing into rainbows. Pitch black fountains in lightning flashes. Every move you make changes your experience. Lovely to see children so playfully engaged.
Final day of the challenge to post seven covers of children's books I loved and love. No explanation, no review, just the cover. Thanks for the challenge, @markrusselluk, it's brought back great memories. I nominate @LauraBrough to take it on.
Day 4 of posting seven children's books that I love. No review; just the cover.
“Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return. Turn away from sin and be faithful to Christ.” Suddenly this evening these seemed like the most important words anyone has said to me this year. #AshWednesday
Among the famous Richard Dadds and Louis Wains in @bethlemmuseum is this devastating painting by George Harding. So glad I visited.
