Like me, Dickens also had to have special desk items for his eyes to linger upon while he took rests from putting quill to paper...bronzes of swordfighting toads & dog-owner with little dogs under his arms; paperknife, rabbit on its haunches; cup filled with flowers; calendar.

@juliekidsbooks Thanks, Julie. The chances of having an out of print book republished by a new publisher are slim...but you never know. Once a Creepy Crocodile was only marketed in Aus and NZ, and the original publisher never offered it on Amazon.
