Highly recommend grabbing Evangelion E-Mono.

It is essentially a very detailed Evangelion merchandise catalogue of the 1995-1997 period and was published in December of 1997. It does a good job of illustrating what fans had access to back then.

Ah so I checked out a little bit of Toei's Mushrambo cause of Kamimura's character designs.

What's interesting is there is a slight basis on cards; which puts it before Digimon Tamers by a year. It seems to have been an original work.

I wonder if there is any other examples of Kamimura Char and Amuro art?

I also didn't notice the month dated in the corner before. From afar it looks like "August 1986".
