A long time ago when I was stuck with the writing I made the cover mockup on the left for my WIP. A little bit of me still wants to self publish just so I can use it because I highly doubt trad pub, if I ever make it, would let me submit my own illustration. But it needs rainbows

Had a play with sepia ink and Inkscape, but personally I am a fan of number 1. What do you think?
These are just made with a standard A4 page, so the disadvantage of anything too complex is it will have to be resized once I know the dimensions of the book template I'll be using.
