Apparently this was originally done to stop a woman being splashed by horse and carriages🙂 Amazing how this legacy passed onto cars😆 I can't remember who taught me this but I've tended to do this as long as I can remember🤔

Hiya. Can you think of a good example of the "Blackmail" trope in a cartoon? I know in the terrible Spongebob episode "Summer Job" Krabs hides Mrs Puffs' secret in order to use her for slave labour. But did you have any examples from other cartoons you can think of? Thanks!
