@mochyneko I stopped drawing for 5 straight years and on sep 7 of 2020 I started by making the first image you see , I tried studying different styles and drawing almost every day not seeing much improvement until Feb 21 of 2021 when I created the second image of which I was so proud of.

As a black artist I feel a little disappointed in myself for not knowing how to color black skin properly a few months ago

But I am proud that I learned to do it at least a little better (at least it doesn't look grey or orange anymore 🥰)
