Fun fact:

Pichu was originally supposed to appear as a Pokémon Yellow exclusive. However, Pichu's extremely round body created a singularity every time it was sent out.

Due to balancing issues, it was cut, and it wasn't until Gold/Silver when we saw the new Tiny Mouse Pokémon.
