Datura is from Efrika, or so he claims. No one really knows where he's from, honestly - but the poisonous brews and concoctions he conjures fetch a pretty penny. He knows many things, or perhaps nothing at all - it's hard to tell with him. Being around him gives folks the creeps.

Margret Blanche, Carey's mother. Maggie was born in a wealthy upper-class family in the Southern Baronies, but found her life dreary and longed for adventure... which is why when dashing and charismatic Bernie showed up, she was head over heels. Now she misses having money.

Bernard Jess, Carey's father! He's an infamous con artist from Sand Blast City who ran away from some debts and wound up in the Southern Baronies, where he met his future wife, Margret Blanche. They were a modern Bonnie & Clyde up until Maggie got pregnant and had Carey.

Surprise! A genuine OC. This is Kelly, perhaps my oldest non-fandom OC. He's the son of a crime lord, he's got a nasty temper, and he's *very* high strung, always jumpy and paranoid. Bit of a druggy. He doesn't really have a story though, I may make him a DND character eventually

Hugo is from a far away land in Yurasia. His parents were killed by a loan shark, and he was raised by his grandfather, who took Hugo and his 2 siblings to Empire City. After crossing the Mafia and losing his family, Hugo rose to take over the city's vast criminal underground.

Jace Katt is from Central City. He had a good childhood and he was close with his mother. He lost his old life when his mom began dating a cop, who Jace discovered to be crooked. Jace was nearly killed for discovering the truth, and escaped to Empire City. Now he's a vigilante!

Carey Jess was born in the Southern Baronies; her folks were con artists. After being abandoned, she set out to Empire City, where she got roped into the mafia. That didn't work out, and now she's back to picking pockets to get by & getting more in debt. She has firework powers!
