#Halloween: "18 February 1915" - The illustration from the Austro-Hungarian magazine "Die Muskete" (25 Feb. 1915) shows an armored knight cutting off the British Isles with his arms. The title refers to the date Germany's policy of unrestricted submarine warfare went into effect.

#Halloween: "John Bull's Allies" - The illustration from the Austro-Hungarian magazine "Die Muskete" (22 March 1917) shows John Bull petting his newest ally, the Monster of Usury of Food, since Time, Death and Hunger has failed him.

#Halloween: "Buchanan the Spider" - The illustration from the Austro-Hungarian magazine "Die Muskete" (19 July 1917) the peace-hungry Russian soldier is caught in the money-web of George Buchanan, British Ambassador to the Russian Empire, and is forced to continue fighting.

#Halloween: "Full Speed Ahead Towards World Domination" - The illustration from the Austro-Hungarian magazine "Die Muskete" (6 Sept. 1917) shows Uncle Sam as a stoker showelling soldiers into the furnace powering the war.

@FrostyASquared Ion Stoica Dumitrescu (1886-1956) was a Romanian painter who painted some war motifs during the First World War. For example this one, "Bayonet Fight", from 1916.

"In the Field" (1917) by Austrian painter and illustrator Hans Maria Glatz (1878-1930). The painting depicts an Austro-Hungarian infantryman during the 11th Battle of the Isonzo.
