Yaaayyy it's #Mermay again ! 🐠 I decided to redraw the concept of an old drawing. A mermaid playing flute the wrong way underwater ? Don't ask. 😄

I'm trying negative painting ! It's fun and quick to do :)

For 6 years I admired Notre Dame. She always was somewhere on the horizon. I walked under the cherry trees looking up to her. I roamed on the quays watching her in the distance. I sat on Louis Aragon square, on Saint-Louis island, admiring the view.

I'm working on a new drawing 🖌 To know what kind of scene and color scheme I want, I've quickly drawn and painted a small preparatory painting 😊

I had a very stressful and busy month, but still wanted to commit to my "Two drawings per month" resolution, so I painted something simple to relax a bit and celebrate spring 🌸

I went to the Museum of Natural History with friends yesterday and did some 15 minutes sketches ! 😊It's a pretty good exercise of observation and rapidity ! Gotta learn how to draw animals too !

Some japanese inspired mountains 💙 I might begin a small series like this to keep painting even if it's something quick :> First resolution of 2019 is to do at least two drawings/paintings a month, it's very low so the chances that I'll disappoint myself are low too :p
