While Smash Ultimate is the best of 2018 easily, I wanna talk about Persona Q2 instead. An improvement on all fronts from the already good Persona Q, Q2 has fun combat+cast combined with a story and character in Hikari that I found quite relatable, an underrated 3DS gem!

Troubleshooter's a game with XCOM inspired gameplay in a modern dystopia with fun characters, a curious conspiracy story, and plenty of strategic gameplay and character building!

It's got a lot of fat to trim and is a "gets good 20 hours in" game, but I know some will like it!

Skate Bird is the Tiny Hawk's Pro Skater that couldn't match up to its inspiration, but is cute when it isn't being clunky.

I may have liked it more than I would have otherwise since I had the THPS3 OST playing the entire time.

Touhou Makuka Sai Part 2 is "We have Perfect Cherry Blossom at home" like how the previous game was for the previous Touhou game.

Music's not as good and there's questionable bullet design, but it improves on PCB's border mechanics by making it a resource system.

Touhou Gensou Skydrift is a kart racer with pretty alright music (only downside being a few tracks repeat). It's not the prettiest but the looks get the job done, and I love the rings and switching characters being more meaningful than Double Dash, which this game is better than!
