I decided to try to make my brain try to draw with my left hand in order to see if I could make myself utilize both hemispheres. The result isn't bad ... but like I could literally feel my brain straining trying to do it. I may try this more.

Finally started on the Blender rite of passage tutorial.

And yes it works on things like capes. For my friends WIP character, I took the hoodie, cut it down for the small cape, and then in Blender resized it to be bigger, then did this method to transfer weights and vertex groups to auto-rig it over the shirt.

Trying to make Hikaru's hair in this program is so tedious. I'll have like a million hair groups when I'm done x.x

Well thanks to VUP I found out why my models legs keep peaking out of her pants LOL.
