McPig simply asked the creator @edannunziata if Mort could be in Pizza Tower and he said sure, no strings attached.

Peppino and Gustavo's sprites have them wear Yellow clothes.

This is done so that the outfit function changes Only the clothes like a chroma key. If white, Peppino's teeth and eyes would be affected.

Despite being yellow, there is no yellow clothes as an unlockable.

One of the earliest concepts for the story would have involved Peppino's restaurant failing so badly, his deceased ancestors come back to haunt Peppino.

They would tell him about the "Pizza Tower" that has the ingredients to make his food good and save his business.

Let's start with a simple fact.

The Noise used to be more detailed, having more shading, a pizza insignia on his stomach, and pepperoni on-top his hat! Just like a Pizza!

These details were removed to make him easier to animate.
