Managed to read this far? Nice. I suppose I'll leave you with this new pic of her then. Inspired by an image made by @Tangdraws of Ashley in Techwear, I had to have a go at it myself:

I've always had problems drawing her consistently, but I've had a couple of images where I've nailed something about it. I also eventually codified the idea that she's actually quite short compared to others, which I find somewhat amusing.

Also I had this other trait where she spaces out in the heaviest of bondage, and it does weird things to her imagination. These are mostly just excuses to draw dreamscapes, but consistently, she always has long hair in her own mind.

So eventually I had to come up with something that fit her, and actually have a recognisable palette. Took over two years, but here we are.

For a while I leaned heavily into the restraint tester idea, codified with a green prison jumpsuit instead of a more usual colour.

Since I couldn't be bothered with inventing a new one-off character for each, I kinda just had this red head with impossible upticks who tried out lots of restraints, so she kinda wrote herself as this modern day tomboyish restraint tester person and later on, a bit of a flirt.

Self indulgent post thread time where I just go through how one of my characters evolved over the years. Ashley was a person I originally made up because I had some image ideas and just needed *someone* to model them. Mostly in ridiculous straitjackets.
