@FunkyLilLass I think we should just be glad The Boys wasn’t made into a show or movie when the comic came out, because it definitely would’ve had Pegg in that accent for a lot longer

How Doc Shaner draws Plastic Man’s eyes in his goggles and how Alex Ross draws them feels like a two sides of the same coin. They feature the eyes, the area around them, and the reflections, but while Ross is very realistic and maybe uncanny, Shaner is very comic-y and stylized.

You can even tell he’s based off of the Plas Jr. of the 60’s comic by his girlfriend in “The Kingdom: Offspring” series he came from, Mikey DeLute, a direct pull from that original comic. Plus, in the end of the Kingdom series, when heroes see their alt selves, Plas Jr is shown!
