People will complain night and day about how the MCU “ruined” Spider-Man by having Iron Man be his mentor, but I’m fully ready to argue that what happened to Plastic Man in Batman: The Brave And The Bold was similar, but also 100x worse than that in so many ways

I think it’s a bit sad that because Plastic Man’s long history as a government agent is mostly ignored by most writers (outside of his own books), we’ve never seen what could possibly be a very funny conflict in comics:
