The Stalkwing (Heron Drake) is a Volantothere filling heron-like niches. The diet and ecology between species vary widely ranging from piscivores, through carnivorous wetland stalkers to opportunistic carrion eaters.

A Sea Wyrm is usually a benthic creature, feeding on sperm whales, krakens and other creatures of the deep. But rarely, usually during storms, it surfaces to take in air and to feed upon unlucky animals disoriented by the storm.
