I can never experience bonfire night without thinking of the way Shakespeare and Ben Jonson are portrayed by @neilhimself and Charles Vess in the Sandman tale "The Tempest."
@Nnedi @Simply_Rain_S well, you've finally answered a question that the "Pooch Cafe" comic strip asked years ago.
I can sleep now, thanks!
One of my favorite 'Pooch Cafe' Sunday strips, from way back in May of '09.

Some things never change, including, apparently, the importance of peppers to @MrWillHenry
It's Wednesday, #NCBD, and there are some cool issues out today. A return visit to Archie's married life with a @parentdaniel cover, @WalterSimonson's artist ed 'Star Wars,' and, sadly, the @Oeming's Dick Tracy finale.
For those who didn't catch @johnkovaleski's 'Me, myself and my puppet' in the magazine, here's a sample (one of my faves.)
I never thought "Archie" comics could top their crossover with Marvel's character 'The Punisher.' Then they had Archie & co. hunted by 'Predator.' Maybe I shouldn't be surprised by this, but @parentdaniel, I think you have come up with the all-time unbeatable cover. Kudos.
THIS is why libraries are important - we have all the really cool info you have to know ....
Today's "Wallace the Brave" by @MrWillHenry on @gocomics
