But more often than not, the happy+clever people are only ever wise masters or guru’s.

I think Shikamaru’s character growth from lazy to teamwork leader, is a great example of one (even though he’s not expressively upbeat)

At this point in my ‘long hair’ career, I really should just carry a little supply of cigarettes, skins, lighters etc. for all the strangers who’ve asked me for them over the years.
