I don't think I had to think very hard when deciding to play these characters. https://t.co/MayrEqvCkG
And lastly, they take away your abilities to Rapid Cancel and Crush Trigger. So uh yeah, I think the Simple Controls in BBCF are way better.
Also, they completely changed what A+B does. They made A+B the input for supers. For example 5AB is Devoured By Darkness, and 6AB is Carnage Scissors. However this is all A+B does.
The other main issue is that they just completely remove a bunch of your moves. As far as I can tell, Ragna loses access to his standard 2A, j.A, and 6C. They also remove some of your special moves, along with the ability to do special move inputs.
Obviously, having a bunch of normals locked behind auto-combos means you don't have as easy access to them. Although it's way more annoying than BBTag because the auto-combos completely change depending on how close you are to the enemy, and whether or not they are blocking.
These two images both feel like an A.I. was tasked to create Guilty Gear characters. It's really weird, but also really cool.
Here's some examples of weird ass characters that have been put in fighting games. I don't think these would have existed if everyone had these Smash fans' mindset.
Here's a random thing for me to complain about: People who wanted Phoenix Wright in Smash. I believe that you can make anyone into a fighting game character. Smash, along with many other fighting games, have proven this time and time again.
