A bit late to the bandwagon but here is an example of sketch verse final for one of my pictures. Sometimes I have an extra sketch layer specifically for clothing.

By complete coincidence @_CharlaP_ and I both bought each other a multipack of different color highlighters. As an experiment I used them for all the base colors and then shaded with a mix of brush pens and colored pencil.

I was assigned blue, so 4 blue pokemon that I like a lot!
