So glad I waited for the English dub of #SAC_2045. The dub for the original Stand Alone Complex is one of the most perfect pieces of voice casting I've ever heard, and it's really great to have them all back again.

Finished Angel Cop tonight. It wasn’t as mad as it’s reputation led me to hope, but it has a crass charm to it, like watching an Italian b-movie that tries to marry Ghost in the Shell with Scanners, then throws in a bit of tokusatsu for good measure.

Angel Cop Episode 3:
I AM TRUSTWORTHY.

Enjoyed the second episode of Angel Cop far more than the first one; I think it works better for me now that any pretence of the show being serious has been completely removed. I also very much appreciate their evil businesswoman aesthetic.

After 8 episodes of wondering what the heck that text in the Cat’s Eye credits actually says, I have deduced that it’s an article on the Christian sect, the Shakers. Honestly, this raises more questions than it answers.
