So after re-watching the #TombRaider Dallas Dickinson Community Stream he did mention that he wanted to make Lara an inspirational figure for his daughter...why? why cant Lara Croft be an Anti-Hero? Classic Lara Croft inspired young girls + her massive LGBT fans. I have no hope.
The idea of stripping everything that made Classic Lara Croft a strong female character (because she can't be taken as "serious") to only make her overly dramatic, always-following-her-fathers-footsteps, uninspiring, generic overall a bland character is actually blatantly sexist.
Lara Croft needs to look like this again like either one will perfectly do
Remember when Lara Croft was disowned by her family because she refused to partake in an arranged marriage & seeked out adventures for the thrill yup I sure do. OG feminist icon and lgbtq legend.
I can go on and on but I'll stop here. I'm tired of people bitching about how the fans are "TOXXICCCCCCXXXX" when its the fans who are mad at how Classic Lara Croft (the OG Queen of gaming and media) is treated like complete shit by Square Enix. My role model since I was 4 (5/5)
