My 4th portfolio illustration! A royal knight in a strange dream.

I learned a lot about how to detail and paint in a way that feels intuitive and efficient!

Made a quick Kaede chibi before my PC broke that I still think is pretty cute.

'Slender' isn't the adjective I'd use, but sure!

I was under the impression that the weird assymetry in Hypnos' hair was a quill, but that didn't really make any sense, because he already has one in his sprite? But I looked up a representation of the actual god, and I think it's supposed to be a single wing!

I've barely done any actual painting on this yet, but I'm really loving how it's turning out... I wanted it to look really ethereal and dreamy but kind of tense at the same time, as if everything could just be an illusion.

My third portfolio painting, of a thief! I wanted to emulate the really stable compositions that I sometimes see in old storybook illustrations.

But especially this one.

Never got around to finishing this because it was frustrating me too much, but here's a beat up Tenma Kenzo from Monster.
