Did a few more unpainted figurine studies... The uniform grey makes it easy to see values.
Some weekend speedpaints. The first is a study from an unpainted anime figurine and the second is Prosciutto. I've read the manga three times and have been keeping current with the anime, but for some reason, it only just dawned on me how much I love his design.
Oh yeah, here's that coloring style test I did for small charms and buttons and stuff. Feel free to give opinions on which you'd prefer?
I finished that mage girl piece! I can nitpick a lot of things about this, but I think it accurately reflects, like... my 'tastes', for lack of a better term, and I think that qualifies it as a portfolio piece.
I painted a lady knight! I'm pretty happy with how she turned out... I'm finally figuring out how to render the subtle details that I like putting into my sketches.
