18. Lulu: It occurred to me I've somehow not done Lulu yet which is a travesty since she's one of my favourite characters of all-time! Lulu's been my main since 2013 so all the new content she's been getting the past couple years or so has been so much fun. Cus that's Lulu: fun!

17. Melia Antiqua: Bout time for another Xenoblade character. Par for the course for Xenoblade's cast, Melia is a fantastically developed character with a great arc who excels in both the lighter and darker moments of the story. A treat throughout the whole game.

15. Eleonora Yumizuru: Tomboy archer! Itsuki might be a year older, but Eleonora makes it clear that she's his senpai when it comes to showbiz. She's has that big sister energy that comes from her having several younger brothers, and overall she's just a *super* fun character.

11. Soleil: Bi queen. Is it a surprise the daughter of one of my favourite FE characters also ended up being one of my favourite FE characters? Maybe not. But Soleil's a super special character to me that means *so* much. Far too much for a tweet. But she is the best.

10. Kotone Shiomi: I made it this long without mentioning Kotone!? Her polar opposite personality compared to Makoto makes for a really fun experience with a peppy, mischievous protagonist. Her relationships with the cast are great and her PQ2 dialogue is all golden perfection.

8. Ann Takamaki: When I first played P5 Ann initially struck me as a character I wouldn't really like. But I was quickly proven wrong and was sold for good after "There are some fates worse than death". She's a fantastic character all-around who's always fun to see in games.

4. Tressa Colzione: She takes on the traditional coming-of-age story role in Octopath and her peppy go-getter attitude made her immediately endearing. Her story was a joy to experience from beginning to end and was just really heartwarming all around.

It's Say'ri's birthday today! One of my personal favourite Awakening characters in a cast that makes competition tough. My only complaint is I wish she got more supports. But the supports she does have are great! Especially her support with Tiki.
