workin' on dah body now + tryin' out a different color scheme for the gold's shade zone
safe to say im glad i got the skin mostly workin' the way i want it to cuz DAMN
aight, was able to come up with this last night
surprisingly enough, i was also able to figure out how to simulate gradient maps bein' lighting dependent after all these gotdamn years lmfao.
basically applied dah knowledge on the fur & then did the same on da skin
tryin' out sumn new on the NPR side of things
basically tryna get the midtone zone and shaded zone to have more color difference instead of either zone just bein' a solid color each
Max has a "Shadow/Light" option for falloff and i thought about using it here
I ain't got no new render for today, but regardless, I do gotta thank this mf helpin' further my renderin' skills.
These renders in particular really stick out to me as some of the most interesting ones I've done.
Mans is just too cool, no cap. #Sonic30th #SonicTheHedgehog
@Aeyga_X 2-ish more extras cuz I honestly like 'em WAY too much to not include 'em. THAS ALL FROM ME.

honestly deadass lookin' at the shader up close on some of the frames here really do give off a good vibe for me tbh
like yea i was the one who made it, but idk there's just somethin' different bout it when you aint actively adjusting the mat settings and all that imo.

Peeped a tutorial on replicatin' the Vibe the Verse framerate effect and tried it on one of the Unleashed anims
that, an I went ahead 'n applied my shader on the mesh cuz I wanted to see it in motion.

honestly i know i do a frick ton of this stuff, but aside from like maybe anime/game openings, i can't see i see this bein' used in a more practical scenario; in this case the game itself LOL
guess it's prolly only a matta of time before i figure sumn out for a game tho
