19. Fuji's my persona, but they don't belong to any story really so they're not really a self-insert. I do give some of my OCs my own traits tho, such as Masazu being a grammar freak, Tali liking music CDs, and Sara being perpetually tired

17. I don't have specific ages for them, but Alchias and Sara might be the oldest NeoBST characters, being like a few thousand years old

Numiko and Kaita are probably the youngest in years because nudibranch and octopus lifespans are very short and Kaita is still babby

14. In terms of art, I REALLY need to draw Loveth and Kokoro more... I didn't redesign them just to have them wallow in art purgatory. Writing-wise tho they're fine

also yeah ive ignored almost everyone not in neobst but they dont matter lol

9. Design-wise, Niji and Yakadochi are the weirdest. I think when designing Niji I just wanted to flex how diverse my cast could be, while Yakadochi is a "scrimblo bimblo" character who almost threw a wrench in my worldbuilding. Their names don't even sound real

1) Draw the OC
2) Craft a good name. If their name has Han characters, this is the fun part
3) Give them a purpose in the story/lore
The order of these steps is arbitrary. Ex. Ukemi's was 2-3-1, Ame's was 3-1-2, and Cherry's was 1-3-2
