I wanted to get back into brainstorming and designing characters , this was an attempt to make something inspired by fromsoftware's concept art books :))

i now know that i need to work on proportions and patients cuz this would have been awesome if i didnt rush things :|

in the original illustration of this character, the idea was that she's a magical girl. instead of the usual light and vivid color scheme , she was supposed to be a witch. you can kinda see a big skull in the glowy fog beneath her, and that's what inspired me to-

this gold fly shaped ornament and red bow arent really special. but i will get into the whole fly thing later on as well

even though the painting i did recently is liiike kinda scuffed and theres not a lot of details that you can discern, i spent a lot of time researching fashion and history to make a cool design for our local fly demon queen (1/?)
