Something great coming this June. I'm given an opportunity to teach a course at @WorkshopAcademy for a sketchbook Bootcamp focusing on pencil & ink. It will cover quite a lot of topics!

The back of my Tarot card deck. Working slowly toward that Kickstarter.

And the last card in the Major Arcana, THE WORLD, which I took on the challenge of approaching the content with a complete look but at the same time somehow maintaining the meaning of it. The kid is her world, isn't it?

The Moon and the Sun. There's a lot of say about these illustrations which my words can't hardly explain in these clumsy paragraphs.
They're quite different in representation but I do think they look good next to each other. Both original drawings now belong to a good friend.
The Star - it represented hope but also loss and isolation I finished this drawing with a broken heart on my; late cousin supposed 30th birthday - one week before her death. November was a very sad month.
The Hermit and Wheel of Fortune cards are quite far from each other in the completing timeline. The Hermit was among the first few cards I did, and Wheel of Fortune was among the last. I can see the improvement in technical skill improved by 0.5%.
The Chariot and Strength cards.
The Chariot showed more of the aftermath of a disaster. Quite a bit different from the original context.
Strength card - I finished it before the Chariot and may be the first animal I drew in this series.
The Lovers. By the pose, you can tell which photo I use for the reference. Besides that, I also trying to do what Franklin Booth did with his illustration - the legend effortlessly controled not only the width of his strokes but also the width for the gaps between stroke.
Another challenge for creating concept art for this one. My vision for the Hierophant can be creepy.
I failed the execution again. Bad silhouette and value planing
