Stage 6: DESTROYER
It takes a considerable amount of ingested biomass for a Hunter form to reach this size and strength, but once it does, they'll enter a brief hibernation as their soft skin hardens into strong armor. These forms only strive to consume and grow larger and larger

Stage 5: HUNTER
Once the previous stage reaches about 4 or 5 feet in height, its body will begin to change once more, adapting stronger legs, deadlier claws, and an allover more predatory form. These apex hunters will hunt down and consume just about anything.

Stage 4: BABY
Now bipedal, the kaijuling boasts surprising speed and hunting intelligence, aiming for rodents, small pets, and even larger prey if it can manage it. They've been even known to use their 'cuteness' to sneak into the homes of sentient species for easy food.

Phase 3: CRAWLER
After consuming enough biomass to start forming a chitinous shell around its eyes and mouth. They will emerge from the water to seek out insects and other small prey to eat. It can use its new claws to climb on walls to hunt better.

Phase 1: EGG
Kaijulings are born via a viral pathogen entering a host's bloodstream. The viral cells will find a suitable organ to nest within before releasing pheromones to make the host docile and receptive. The egg will then drive its host to consume to feed the growing egg.
