An outpatient surgery is performed making a small incision behind your ear so they can slip the receiver/stimulator in there then thread the electrode into the cochlea to reach the auditory nerve. You wait 2 weeks post op to activate the device.

I’m practicing digital drawing on procreate for the first time in a while and wow am I out of practice. But it’s nice to be able to make art on the go again! Procreate is CHAMP!
