I've won it, everyone. I've won the 'weird OC comparisons' contest. Everyone else can go home.
Someone just called Neon 'the demogorgon, but a girl and in space'
So... NOT THE DEMOGORGON??
(Also Neon is not a girl)
Reminder that if you'd prefer not to order from my UK store, I also have an INPRNT! Here are some of the prints available 🎨 Patrons get 20% off!
The difference in viewing my work in monochrome before I started focusing on improving my values, vs after (this is the same character) 🥲
@MegglesArt My nervous amnesiac wizard Vespertine, my unrepentant rogue Cadence, and my newest boy, ex-circus performer and storm sorcerer Esteem!
Tonight (Weds 15th, 7-9pm BST) I'll be streaming progress on June's monthly illustration on my Discord for patrons/K0-fi supporters! I'll be working on another OC tarot card, this one of my tiefling sorcerer Esteem!
This was May's monthly illustration suggestion from my patrons and is about 14 hours of work and experimentation. I tried working from monochrome to colour for the first time to improve my values and learned how to better apply gradient maps. I feel like I learned so much!
Here are two NPCs from my D&D campaign, now being moved into my novel!
Captain Althalos Ashmore, known as 'Ash', is a gentle and quietly-spoken man - he doesn't have much of a commanding presence but is respected among his crew for putting their needs first
This is Lanre! My viera alt in FFXIV, she has also had an AU version crop up in one of my D&D characters' backstories. She is not a WoL, but she studied in Old Sharlayan and works with the Scions studying unusual aetherial patterns across Eorzea
This is Cadence, a tiefling rogue I played in a one-shot! She used to be a member of nobility, planned to be married to a man who then fled with everything she owned. Instead of deciding to be the better person, Cadence became a career criminal and now fleeces men of their money
Here's Luka, my character for a future Monsterhearts campaign! They're a nonbinary ace fae who can seem a little intense and unnerving, but they're just awkward. They used to live in London, then their family moved to a small town in Scotland to open a bookshop/cafe
