While I'm on the subject of my WIPs, here's an example of one I'm working on at the moment which shows my process on personal art pretty well! I've extended the canvas to better fit elements in, but generally this is what was in my head. From here I'll go straight to lineart

This is Reed, they're a halfling fighter and a little gremlin. 3ft of love, joy, and absolute chaos. Friends, family and food are their favourite things. Reed is currently learning to use magic and having a great time using their absurdly oversized warhammer as a torch

This is Kit! He's an Amali (custom race created by @De_Husky) and arcane trickster rogue. An actual baby, who has very little life experience but is trying his best. He's good at wood carving and has a tressym familiar called Kat 🐱

Here's Tarron, a wildling (custom race from my campaign/story setting), blacksmith, and horny little bastard man. His family excel with magic, but he's better at punching things. At heart, he's very soft, but on the surface he can be abrasive and takes everything as an insult

This is Vespertine, he's a tiefling evocation wizard with a proclivity towards fire. Very smart, but panics at literally everything. Seems like a sweetie but actually has a pretty terrible superiority complex, and judges other people on their use of magic
