A simple Biscuit, from sketch to final ✌️

So I took my lil Biscuit design a step further with some extra garnish, and I like how it looks! The feedback on the brighter, warmer bow color was so helpful ✌️

I'm trying to finish up a pile of WIPs but I always get stuck on minor color details. I'm kinda leaning towards the middle ribbon just because it's in the same hue as Biscuit's nose.

When in doubt, fundamentals! I love practicing with more limited or experimental palettes. It definitely helps to have set boundaries so you know how far you can push hue versus value, etc. First two portraits were warm-ups which led to a more detailed third portrait.
