I've never heard this mentioned anywhere: did Takara specifically choose these three guns for their Pre-Transformer MicroChange Gun-Robo toyline because each one belongs to a Lupin III cast member? Walther P-38 (Lupin), Magnum (Jigen), Browning (Fujiko)

Turns out that July 21st is a great day to celebrate some of the very best of Japanese animation, as all of these timeless classics came out on this date.
