frayed, tattered, an imperfect fit where busted seams meet skin
take a needle and thread to stitch yourself back together
this time just a little tighter than before
maybe one day the seam will stay closed

he is emberperch and yellowfoots paternal uncle, yellowfoot was actually named after his deceased mate :)
