@nskorpen Ah heck yeah, there's all manner of magic! And there are competing necromancers rather than competing necromancies. The main antagonist of the series is also a necromancer. This gal:

She's one of the nicest necromancers you will ever meet and her sister is a deceased soul possessing a dead dog so family events are always fun.
