#PrizeWinner: 'Micheal' by Laura Hope has been awarded The de Laszlo Foundation Award, a prize of £3,000 plus a Silver Medal for the most outstanding portrait by an artist aged 35 years or under. Congratulations Laura!

James posted this drawing a couple of weeks ago, we couldn't not share it with you. "This is watercolour and chinese ink. It's taken from an old photograph of the painter Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. It’s a preparatory drawing for a series of woodcuts."

This piece by Belinda Crozier is titled 'Last Day of the Holiday Blues’. She uses a fantastic array of blue and green tones; she really captures the moment with perfect poise. This portrait will be featured in our annual exhibition at @mallgalleries from 6th to 15th May 2021.
