After investing in a Hula Hoop this week, it seems I'm the only person in my family who can do it, though I do look rather hilarious doing so!

Only time to colourise a quick warm up doodle for I'm afraid! Based on Heywood's 'Ella' locomotive as she looked when on the Ravenglass & Eskdale line. Grubby, dirty, piled high with coal, but still cared for.

Been so distracted by my new book I almost forgot about Currently reading about Arthur Heywood's 'Effie' locomotive. It weighed 15 tons and only ever had one brake shoe. It must have flown down Duffield Bank!

I'm off to Merseyside this weekend. Unfortunately for me, due to awkward train times, this means I have twenty minutes to run a mile between Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria to make my connection!
