I was playing around with a copy of the very second picture I ever saw of a collared lizard, way back in (gasp) 1957! Care to guess the source of the original? Hint: the first picture I saw of this was on the cover. 😀

Preserved specimens become blue in alcohol, & that's how this agamid was described. I recoloured it from life--& as Mr Scott famously noted, it's green!
